The location was great, you can’t beat being right on the boardwalk. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Staff were friendly and really tried to make your stay nice. There was a very pungent smell on one of the floors and they spent a lot of time trying to locate the source and hours resolving, they worked harder than I expected them too. The breakfast was delicious every morning. We stayed during off season and had zero issues with parking but it is a small parking garage under the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great trip! Francis at the front desk was SUPER helpful, we booked 3 rooms and wanted to all be on the same floor and she helped us make it happen through multiple calls beforehand. The breakfast is excellent, rooms were clean, check-in was easy. Ask about overflow parking if lot is full. Location 10/10 if you want to walk on boardwalk.

Hyatt Place in Ocean City offers a great location and an inviting atmosphere. The staff truly sets this hotel apart—they were above friendly and incredibly helpful during our stay. In a time when hospitality seems to have taken a back seat, it’s refreshing to see such pride in their work. Their dedication to creating a welcoming environment is something we truly appreciated.
Being dog-friendly was a major plus for us, as it’s a must for our family when traveling. The hotel’s amenities, cleanliness, and overall vibe were excellent. However, we were disappointed with the comfort of the beds—they didn’t quite meet our expectations. Additionally, while we understand it’s more of a people issue than a hotel issue, the overwhelming smell of weed on our balcony and in the elevators was disappointing. It took away from the relaxing experience we were hoping for, especially since we couldn’t sit and enjoy the ocean view from our room as much as we’d planned.
Despite these drawbacks, the exceptional staff and dog-friendly policies make us look forward to returning. We hope for some improvements next time, but overall, Hyatt Place is a solid choice for a stay in Ocean City.
