Kalamata Meze Bar
Loved the food here (shakshuka and Adana kebap were particularly delicious). Service was the right balance of attentive without being intrusive. The belly dancer livened the atmosphere. There were only two of us, and we want to come back so we can try more dishes.
UPDATE- enjoyed it so much we went back later that week. My friend wanted more shakshuka before she left. Had the small meze sampler (delicious), beef shish kabap, Beyti kebab (not my fave, felt the meat was overpowered by the lavash and yogurt) and dessert. Baklava trio was so good, liked the one soaked in milk the best. Kunefe was really tasty as well.

This hidden gem was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect. The wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. That is not an adequate description of how simply wonderful the food was. The plating was elegant. The portion was perfect for lunch. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. Would definitely go again when I am in the area. Might even plan a trip just to go back. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

It’s clear that this place is newly opened — the environment is clean and everything feels fresh. They offer a wide variety of dishes, and most of what we tried was quite good. We especially recommend the hummus; it pairs well with the freshly baked bread, which was delicious.
However, there were a few disappointments. The butter shrimp had an overpowering flavor that the butter and cheese couldn’t balance, resulting in a clashing taste. The beef dumplings also fell short — they had a strong, watery flavor from being boiled, which detracted from the overall experience. We wouldn’t recommend these two dishes.
Some of the kebab options were on the salty side, but pairing them with rice helped balance the flavors nicely. We didn’t try any of the alcoholic drinks, but there is a bar with a selection of beverages available.
