The noted explorer, archaeologist, anthropologist, paleontologist, and part-time taxidermist from the University of Chicago, Professor Duffer A. Hacker, led two expeditions to the Fogclift Islands off the coast of South America in the 1930’s. The purpose of these expeditions was to search for ancient gold and diamond mines rumored to be hidden on the Islands. Follow Professor Hacker as you putt your way through an adventurous expedition with mountains, caves, and waterfalls to find gold and diamonds hidden in the mines.

We were visiting from out of town and had some extra time, so we wanted to play mini golf. We were unaware that almost everything shuts down in the fall and winter in this area. We were very happy to find Lost Treasure open. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. He explained that there were 2 courses to choose from, one more challenging than the other. The golf course is very well maintained and we had a great time. When we finished he asked how our game was and because it was Halloween he gave us some Halloween candy on our way out. If we are ever back in the area we will stop in and play another round or two.

After a rather abrupt welcome of “Don’t touch anything!”, eventually the staff warmed up a bit and sent us on our way. Overall the facility was very nice, it was a fun, interesting course that captivated the imagination of a 7 year old and provided us a fun outdoor activity on a beautiful fall day. Overall, the holes were all very short & similar, not many obstacles or variance, but enough to make it interesting. While the staff was nice offering to take our group photo, unfortunately they weren’t able to capture one single face in the frame.

This mini golf place is great! First off, the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. There are 2 different courses to choose from. We chose diamond. You make your way through caves and it’s extremely fun. Recommend the diamond if you want some shade. Recommend for a clean well maintained experience!
